COPTIC ORTHODOX POPE TAWADROS II VISITS GREEK ORTHODOX PATRIARCH THEODOROS II FOR NATIVITY LITURGY

Today, His Holiness visited Patriarch Theodore II of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and of All Africa for this year’s Christmas celebration according to the Gregorian Calendar. This took place in the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Cairo.

A delegation from the Coptic Church accompanied His Holiness:

  • H.E. Metropolitan Morkos of Shoubra El-kheima
  • H.G. Bishop Ermia, the General Bishop
  • H.G. Bishop Eklemandos, General Bishop for the Churches of Almaza, El-hagana, and East Nasr City
  • H.G. Bishop Mikhail, General Bishop for the Churches of Hadayek El-kobba
  • Heg. Fr. Sergius Sergius, Patriarchate Representative
  • Fr. Kyrillos Boshra, Papal Secretaries
  • Mr. Guirgis Ibrahim Saleh, Honorary Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches
