Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East

His Beatitude Patriarch John X has invited the Antiochian Archdiocese’s bishops and Temporary Operating Committee to meet with him and the Patriarchal Vicar, Metropolitan Antonios of Zahle, Baalbek and Dependencies, at the Balamand, Lebanon to begin the process of nominations and election of a new metropolitan for North America. Following the meetings from Nov. 9-11, 2022, the Patriarchal Vicar will come to the Archdiocesan headquarters in Englewood, New Jersey to assume his duties.

The bishops and clergy who already know Sayidna Antonios are grateful that he is coming to help the Archdiocese through this process because he is a talented and compassionate father of Christ’s Church. Bishop John and the Committee thank Patriarch John X and the Holy Synod of Antioch for their love, guidance, care and support, as well as the clergy, Board of Trustees and faithful of the Archdiocese for their cooperation and confidence.
